They find out the murderer is LAM WAI SUN. He wants revenge for his dead wife CHAN MAN LING and killed KAU and TING. The surmise of his next target will be the magistrate. SUN is arrested but refuses to tell the whereabouts of YEE. YAN points out that LING is worth respected since she sacrificed herself for saving others. SUN is touched and willing to tell the location of YEE. In the hospital, YEE has gone into in a coma for two days. YAN convinces her to resign and YEE agrees to consider.
